Single-Phase Asynchronous Motor
Specification
Single-phase capacitor motor is a type of motor powered by 220V single-phase AC current.
The single-phase capacitor motor separates the single-phase alternating current from the other alternating current with a phase difference of 90 degrees through the capacitor phase shift function, obtains the two-phase alternating current and sends them into two windings respectively. Its working principle and process are as follows:
Two-phase currents with a 90° electrical angle difference are applied to the stator windings → a rotating magnetic field is formed on the stator → the rotor cuts the magnetic field lines to generate an induced current → the induced current generates a rotating magnetic field → the rotor magnetic field interacts with the stator magnetic field → the rotor rotates.
The motor is equipped with a centrifugal switch. When the motor is stationary, the switch is closed.
